5 conseils pour des fêtes de fin d’année en pleine santé !

Les fêtes de fin d’année sont de belles occasions pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis mais c’est aussi la période de l’année où l’on commet le plus d’excès ! Voici nos 5 recommandations pour en profiter pleinement, tout en prenant soin de sa santé et de son bien-être !

1. Un bon menu

Un seul conseil faites-vous plaisir c’est quelques fois dans l’année ! (vous n’êtes bien sûr pas obligé de vous resservir 3 fois, ni de vous précipiter sur l’apéro).

  • Pour l’apéro : On n’hésite pas à intégrer des toasts avec des tartinades faites maisons, des oléagineux non salés (noix de cajou, amande…), des légumes à croquer.
  • Pour l’entrée : si vous désirez en proposer une, pourquoi pas des fruits de mers ou du poisson (saumon fumé par exemple) ou une petite salade composée.
  • Pour le plat : du poisson, de la viande blanche ou une option végétarienne (légumineuses/tofu/seitan/œufs) accompagné de légumes (champignons, haricots…) et un féculent (châtaigne, pomme de terre, riz…).
  • Pour le dessert : si vous trouvez la traditionnelle bûche trop lourde, vous pouvez terminer le repas sur une salade de fruits aux épices de noël.
  • Pour les boissons : Au cours du repas, n’oubliez pas de vous hydrater avec de l’eau et de restez raisonnable sur l’alcool et les sodas. Les sodas, premièrement, contiennent beaucoup de sucre et leur contenant, souvent des canettes, peuvent contenir du bisphénols S et de l’aluminium, tous 2 toxiques pour la santé. Si vous tenez aux sodas, préférez ceux dans des bouteilles en verre.

Et enfin, rien de mieux qu’une petite marche pour digérer, cela permettra également de casser la sédentarité !

2. De bons ingrédients

N’hésitez pas à miser sur le surgelé au niveau fruits et légumes si les ingrédients au menu ne sont plus de saisons. Les fruits et légumes surgelés sont riches en vitamines et minéraux car ils sont récoltés à maturité et surgelés rapidement ensuite.

Pour la viande et le poisson, privilégiez celles de bonnes qualités en privilégiant les boucheries et poissonneries artisanales quitte à réduire la quantité consommée.

Blinis, tartinades, tapenades peuvent être faits maisons facilement, c’est plus économique et ça sera sans additifs !

3. Des ustensiles au top

👉 Pour cuisiner votre repas de Noël, préférez des ustensiles en bois plutôt que ceux en plastique ou en aluminium.

👉 N’utilisez vos poêles ou casseroles antiadhésives (Téflon) que si elles ne sont pas abimées ! Sinon vos repas risquent également de contenir des composés perfluorés et des perturbateurs endocriniens.

👉 Préférez plutôt les contenants en acier inoxydables ou en fonte naturelle. Et si vous pouvez, évitez les moules en silicones (sauf s’ils portent la mention « sans BPA »).

4. Les bonnes méthodes de cuisson

👉 Niveau cuisson, préférez la cuisson à la vapeur elle préserve les vitamines et les minéraux ainsi que le goût.

👉 Si vous faites réchauffer des aliments au micro-ondes, utilisez bien des contenants en verre et non pas en plastique.

👉 Si vous utilisez le four ou un grille-pain pour faire des toasts, ne les faites pas trop chauffer (ils ne doivent pas devenir noir ou trop brun) car il se forme un composé nommé acrylamide qui est cancérogène.

A choisir, une cuisson au four est préférable à une cuisson à l’huile (friture) pour les mets de type pommes duchesses, noisettes, dauphines…

🎁 Choisir les bons cadeaux, sans tracas

Le choix des cadeaux des enfants : un moment pas toujours facile. Et si cette année vous choisissiez un cadeau qui veut aussi du bien à la santé des petits ?

Malheureusement, certains jouets cachent des substances reconnues comme étant des perturbateurs hormonaux, des allergisants et cancérogènes. Comment minimiser les impacts des jouets ?

👉  Privilégiez les jouets fabriqués en France.  Ils répondent ainsi aux standards de qualité européens, qui sont plus élevés que certains autres pays connus pour la fabrication de jouets;

👉  Pour les jouets en bois, choisissez du bois brut et non vernis;

👉  S’ils sont en plastiques, favorisez ceux avec une mention «sans PVC» ou «sans phtalates»;

👉  Pour les poupées et peluches, lavez-les avant utilisation et favorisez ceux en fibres naturelles ou «bio»;

👉  Oubliez le maquillage pour enfant, qui peut contenir des contaminations aux métaux lourds;

👉  Laissez aérer les jouets s’ils ont une odeur, cela veut dire qu’ils émettent des COVs (composés organiques volatils).

NB : vous pouvez demander la composition d’un jouet par écrit au magasin le commercialisant. La réglementation européenne REACH lui impose de vous répondre sous un délai de 45 jours sur la présence de certaines substances chimiques.

✨ Une routine beauté-santé : le naturel n’a jamais été aussi beau

Les cosmétiques utilisés depuis des millénaires ont une composition qui a bien évolué. Ils intègrent ou contiennent souvent des molécules reconnues ou suspectées d’être des perturbateurs endocriniens, allergisantes ou toxiques.

Mascara, vernis, primer, fond de teint, rouge à lèvre, eye liner, fard à paupière, blush, parfums, déo, vous expose à un cocktail de substances toxiques : plomb, cadmium, chrome, aluminium, phtalates, formaldéhyde, toluène, camphre synthétique, parabènes…

Améliorez votre hygiène de vie

👉  Buvez suffisamment 1,5L à 2L par jour;

👉  Mangez équilibrée avec une alimentation riche en fruits et légumes (abusez des légumes riches en bêta-carotène : carottes, courges, papaye…);

👉  Dormez suffisamment 7h à 8h par nuit;

Vous avez la chance d’avoir une cheminée ? Se poser au coin du feu en cette période est toujours un plaisir ! Pour ne pas passer du rêve au cauchemar, il est par contre nécessaire d’avoir les bons gestes, pour préserver une bonne qualité de l’air intérieur.

Feu de cheminée rime avec ambiance cosy, mais malheureusement aussi avec pollution de l’air intérieur. La combustion du bois produit des polluants dans l’air, principalement des particules fines, des hydrocarbures aromatiques polycycliques (HAP) et des composés organiques volatils (COV).

Pour préserver sa santé, et celle de ses proches, 3 conseils pour son chauffage au bois :

👉 Faire ramoner les conduits et la cheminée au moins une fois par an.

👉Bien choisir son combustible. Pas de bois humide : utilisez plutôt des feuillus tendres pour allumer un feu dans une cheminée froide ou un poêle puis les feuillus durs (chêne, hêtre, bouleau, frêne, charme…) pour une combustion plus longue. Evitez si possible les résineux qui émettent plus de goudrons et accentuent l’encrassage des conduits.

👉Allumer le feu par le haut. La technique de l’allumage inversé permet de considérablement réduire la fumée et éviter l’émission de particules fines. Empiler d’abord dans le foyer des bûches avec celles de diamètres plus petits sur le dessus puis placer les petits morceaux de feuillus tendres sur le dessus ainsi que le cube d’allumage. Allumer le cube, fermer la porte et baisser les apports d’air au bout de 10 minutes au moins.

Les fêtes de fin d’année ne sont pas le moment le plus reposant de l’année. Qui n’a jamais dû courir partout pour trouver les derniers cadeaux, prévoir le menu, faire les courses, décorer et bien sûr pour ceux qui reçoivent, faire le ménage ?

Pour les plus motivés et pour ceux qui préfèrent mettre de l’argent dans les cadeaux/fêtes plutôt que dans des produits ménagers, sachez que les produits les plus simples et les plus économiques sont les meilleurs pour votre santé !

  • Le savon noir : Il est multi-usage (sol, sanitaire, four, plaque de cuisson…)
  • Le savon de Marseille : Il peut être utilisé en paillette pour la lessive mais également pour donne run coup d’éclat aux sols en PVC
  • Le bicarbonate de soude : Il peut remplacer les anticalcaires, les lessives ou encore les désodorisants classiques
  • Le vinaigre blanc : Détartrant, désinfectant ou dégraissant il peut être utilisé pour nettoyer les sols, les vitres, la salle de bain, les toilettes…

Dernier conseil : abusez et surabusez de l’aération, au moins 10 minutes matin et soir surtout en cette période où les rassemblements en familles/amis, le fait de cuisiner ou les bougies, parfums ont tendance à augmenter la pollution intérieure.

Pour les plus récalcitrants au ménage sachez qu’une heure de ménage permettrait de perdre jusqu’à 200 kcal. On dit ça, on ne dit rien 😇
