Mon eau à un goût de chlore, est-elle consommable ?

Le chlore est utilisé pour traiter l’eau est garantir son innocuité. Le goût de chlore peut être éliminé en laissant l’eau quelques heures dans une carafe ouverte au frais avant consommation. De l’eau avec un goût de chlore est donc consommable et ne présente pas de risque.

J’ai des crampes d’estomac, de la fièvre, des vomissements et diarrhée cela peut-il venir de l’eau ?

La cryptosporidiose est une maladie présentant les symptômes cités ci-dessus due à un parasite qui peut être transmis par l’eau mais aussi par contact homme/homme ou homme/animal. En 2019 l’ARS (Agence Régionale de Santé) a donné comme consigne de précaution à la ville de Grasse ainsi qu’aux communes environnantes concernées de consommer de l’eau en bouteille car elle suspectait (mais pas de preuves concrètes) la contamination de l’eau du robinet par ce parasite. Cependant ce type de contamination reste rare en France et l’eau reste très contrôlée.

Les micropolluants plastiques dans l’eau du robinet, quels risques pour la santé ?

Il y a effectivement des micropolluants plastiques retrouvés dans l’eau potable mais il faut savoir qu’il y a bien moins de micropolluants plastiques retrouvés dans l’eau du robinet que dans l’eau de bouteilles en plastique. Pour éviter de surconsommer ces polluants il est donc préférable de consommer de l’eau du robinet.

Est-ce que la qualité sanitaire de mon eau du robinet est contrôlée ? 

Le suivi sanitaire de l’eau comprend à la fois la surveillance exercée par la personne responsable de la production et distribution de l’eau et le contrôle sanitaire mis en œuvre par les Agences régionales de santé. Un programme de prélèvements et d’analyses d’eau est assuré en différents points des installations de production et de distribution d’eau par les ARS.

 

Comment la qualité de mon eau est définie ?

En France, les exigences de qualité d’eau sont classées en 2 groupes : les limites de qualité pour lesquelles les paramètres dont la présence dans l’eau induisent des risques immédiats ou à plus ou moins long terme pour la santé. Des références de qualité pour une 20aine de paramètres indicateurs de qualité, témoins du fonctionnement des installations.


Que se passe-t-il s’il y a un dépassement des exigences de qualité ?

Lors de la détection d’une anomalie, une enquête est ouverte afin de déterminer les causes du problème. Les mesures nécessaires sont prises pour rétablir la qualité de l’eau. Si un risque pour la santé des consommateurs est identifié, des recommandations d’usage à la population et notamment aux groupes de populations sensibles sont publiés.

Pourquoi il ne faut pas utiliser d’eau chaude pour faire la cuisine ou boire ?

Une température élevée de l’eau sortant du robinet peut favoriser le transfert des métaux qui constituent les canalisations et la dégradation de la qualité bactériologique de votre eau.

Des médicaments dans mon eau, réalité ou fiction ?

Les produits pharmaceutiques sont considérés comme des micropolluants et font l’objet de recherches actives concernant leurs effets sur la santé humaine. Il y a effectivement des traces de produits pharmaceutiques qui sont retrouvées dans l’eau potable surtout quand celle-ci provient d’eau de surface mais ces effets qu’il soit positif ou négatif n’ont pas encore été prouvés car leurs quantités sont extrêmement faibles (de l’ordre du ng/L).
