La qualité environnementale et la pollution d’un bâtiment agit directement sur le bien-être, la concentration, l’écoute et l’absentéisme.

Un air pollué, un niveau de bruit trop important, un inconfort lié à la température et à l’humidité – peuvent avoir des effets sur la santé. Une mauvaise qualité de l’air peut aller de la simple gêne (olfactive, somnolence, irritation des yeux…) à l’apparition ou l’aggravation de pathologies aiguës ou chroniques : allergies respiratoires, asthme, intoxication…

La qualité d’air au sein des écoles et crèches :

Les systèmes respiratoires et immunitaires des enfants sont en plein développement, ils sont donc particulièrement sensibles à la pollution de l’air intérieur. D’autant plus que les enfants passent plus de 80% de leur journée dans des environnements clos. 

Une surveillance de la qualité de l’air intérieur est désormais obligatoire dans certains établissements recevant du public :

  • à compter du 1er janvier 2018 : dans les lieux d’accueil des enfants de moins de 6 ans (crèches, écoles maternelles…) et écoles primaires ;
  • à compter du 1er janvier 2020 : dans les collèges, lycées et accueils de loisirs

Du fait de la crise sanitaire et de la COVID-19, le contrôle des niveaux de CO2 est également fortement recommandé.
