Une vidéo a fait le buzz car elle attestait prouver en temps réel que l’eau Cristaline contient des pesticides. Info ou intox, Meersens vous dit tout sur la pollution de l’eau Cristaline.

L’eau Cristaline est une eau de source qui provient de plus de 20 sources différentes situées sur le territoire français. L’eau de source répond aux mêmes exigences de qualité microbiologique que l’eau minérale naturelle. Cette eau de source conditionnée répond aux mêmes exigences de qualités physicochimique et radiologique que l’eau du robinet. Au même titre que l’eau minérale naturelle, l’eau de source ne peut faire l’objet que de quelques traitements autorisés par la réglementation.

Ainsi la composition de l’eau Cristaline n’est pas identique partout en France puisqu’elle provient de différentes sources, il faut aussi savoir que certaines sources qui approvisionnent Cristaline approvisionnent aussi des villages environnant en eau du robinet.

La fameuse vidéo essaye de prouver que l’eau Cristaline contient des pesticides avec l’utilisation d’un électrolyseur qui colore l’eau en une couleur foncée.

  • L’eau Cristaline étant une eau de source provenant d’une vingtaine de sources différentes, il est complètement faux d’attester que vous allez consommer des pesticides en achetant cette marque avec uniquement comme justification un test réalisé sur l’eau d’UNE bouteille en particulier !
  • Une électrolyse ne permet pas de détecter les pesticides, mais la capacité de l’eau à conduire le courant grâce aux minéraux qu’elle contient. Il est à noter que les minéraux ne sont pas nocifs pour la santé dans la limite du raisonnable.
  • Un électrolyseur ne permet pas d’attester en quelques minutes de la présence de pesticides. Des tests laboratoires sont nécessaires pour établir si une eau en bouteille est sans pesticide.

Ce type de vidéo, très tape à l’œil, est clairement de l’intox, elle ne permet pas d’attester des résidus de pesticides ni d’ailleurs d’autres polluants potentiels comme les médicaments ou microplastiques.

⚠️Il est par contre à noter que d’après une récente étude publiée dans le Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) le 8 janvier 2024 que l’eau des bouteilles en plastique contient jusqu’à 100 fois plus de nanoplastiques (minuscules particules de plastique) qu’estimé jusqu’ici. Privilégiez donc l’eau du robinet chaque fois que possible. Les systèmes de traitement de l’eau municipaux sont souvent plus équipés pour filtrer les contaminants, y compris les nanoplastiques, que certaines eaux embouteillées.
