Web beacons: Web beacons are small images with a unique identifier, whose function is similar to that of cookies, and which are used to track the browsing of users of our website. Unlike cookies, which are stored on the hard disk of the user’s computer, the web beacons are embedded invisibly in the web pages and their size is more or less the same as the point at the end of this sentence. Meersens does not make any link between the information collected by the spy-tags and personal information about our customers. One or more of our third-party advertising partners use a software technology called web beacons, which help us better manage the content of our site by informing us about the effectiveness of the content.
Meersens may work with website analytics and advertising partners, including Google, Facebook and others to deliver our advertisements on third party publisher websites. Our advertising partners may set cookies on your computer’s web browser. These cookies allow Meersens partners to recognize you so that an ad server can show you Meersens advertisements elsewhere on the Internet. It also enables us to analyze and measure your engagement and interactions while using Meersens.com. If you want more information or details about how advertising services work and/or how to opt out, see the “Advertising Options” section below.

If you access the Services through a mobile device and you do not want your device to provide us with location-tracking information, you can disable the GPS or other location tracking functions on your device, provided your device allows you to do this. See your device manufacturer’s instructions for further details.
